Britney Spears To Tour With Enrique Iglesias This Summer
Today is the official release date of Spears' seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale." The tour begins June 17 in Sacramento and will play 26 arenas in the first round of dates to be announced. It is likely that more dates will be added.
The tour will be produced by Live Nation, with veteran pop tour promoter Brad Wavra, VP at Live Nation, running point. Wavra has previously steered successful tours by such acts as Backstreet Boys, 'Nsync and the Jonas Brothers.
Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Additional on-sale dates will be announced at a later date. Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets through Citi's Private Pass Program.
Iglesias is currently on a European tour in support of his latest album "Euphoria," his first to feature songs in both Spanish and English. Iglesias will carry full production on the Spears tour. While two such high-profile artists with top-shelf production values is sure to be attractive to fans, such an endeavor is also very expensive to produce.
Spears' last run, the "Circus" tour in 2009, was a worldwide trek produced by AEG Live that grossed $120 million and drew more than 1.3 million people over 84 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. That tour was considered a comeback of sorts, and was the seventh-highest grossing tour in the world for that year. Larry Rudolph's Reign Deer Management, which manages Spears, is now affiliated with the Front Line Group of managers, a division of Live Nation Entertainment headed by LN chairman Irving Azoff. Spears is booked by John Marx at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment; Iglesias is booked by Creative Artists Agency.

Britney Spears On Her New Album and Her Favorite Music on Rollig Stone
Britney Spears will release her seventh studio album Femme Fatale on March 29th. It's her most thrilling and inventive record yet, a set of songs that just as danceable as they are unusual and forward-thinking. Rolling Stone caught with Spears to discuss how she goes about selecting songs and collaborators for her albums, her interest seeking out new artists and cutting-edge sounds and what it's like to work with will.i.am and Dr. Luke.
Do your kids like the new record? What have they said about it?
Yes. They definitely dance to it but its kind of funny because they are still confused .... It’s like, ‘who is this Britney Spears singer in contrast to mommy?’

Britney Spears: OUT Magazine
There are few things our culture has come to relish more than fattening up a pop star on a greasy diet of hype and frenzied devotion, only to then turn around and eat her alive an album or two later. It’s become a national pastime we practice in the less savory corners of the Internet or while unloading our Aquafresh and baked Cheetos onto the check-out line conveyor belt.
Nobody knows this better than Britney Spears.

Out's first-ever Ladies We Love issue starring Britney Spears and Madonna
For the first time in Out's history, we're dedicating our entire April issue to the women who inspire, scandalize, educate, and excite us -- in a different way than they excite the other boys. And we're celebrating the landmark moment with another first for us -- two different covers. One will feature the indelible Britney Spears shot exclusively for Out by Ruven Afanador and the other will feature never-seen-before photos of Madonna shot by photographer Richard Corman in 1982 just months before her career skyrocketed.
Enjoy the sneak peek of one of the photos from Britney's revealing cover story and come back to Out.com on Wednesday, March 9 to read our intimate interview with Britney and see all the photos from the shoot. On March 14 Out.com will feature our exclusive Madonna photos and begin to roll out the other Ladies We Love featured in the issue.
Out's April 2011 issue featuring Madonna and Britney Spears on dual covers will be on newsstands on March 29, the same day that Spears's new album, Femme Fatale hits stores and iTunes.
